Born and raised in Broken Hill this country lad moved to the Bay area of Adelaide at 22 years of age and commenced his career in Real Estate right here at Peter F Burns Real Estate.

After leaving school at 15, Myles became a bank clerk with the Bank of New South Wales and was promoted twice in 2 years. He then sought a career in Hotel Management with Pierce Mathews Service Hotels and managed or sub managed the Feathers Hotel, the Largs Pier, The Hotel victor, the Mansfield Park and The Flinders at Port Augusta.  Myles was the youngest Hotel Licensee on record when in 1968 on the afternoon of his 21^st birthday he was granted a full Hotel License to manage the Eyre at Whyalla.  Another year in hotels saw him seeking a sales job and he was hired by Peter Burns Senior at their Brighton Office.

Myles went on to start his own agency in 1977.  In his first 15 years in the industry he averaged over 90 residential sales per annum.  As his business grew he was forced to wind down his sales activities in order to manage what became 320 employees in 33 locations.  Myles Pearce & Co Pty Ltd was the largest single owner business in Australian Real Estate.  In 1987 Myles sold 50% of the business to the State Bank of South Australia and ran it as a joint venture until 1991, when he bought it back again.  In 1988 Myles was an Australian Entrepreneur of the Year finalist and in 1991 the Real Estate Institute of Australia conferred the honour of “Fellow” upon him.

In 1998 with a new family, Myles decided to sell his business 100% to the International Group of Century 21.  Over the next 10 years Myles variously ran his management coaching business (U.C.U. Pty Ltd) and helped his wife Cathy grow her property development business to a $100 million per annum turnover.

In December 2009 with many years of business and sales experience under his belt he has returned to his passion of selling houses and handling every step of the process personally.

Myles personal motto is “I SERVE” and his mission statement says “I can get everything in life that I want by helping enough other people get what they want”.
